Install TFE on your phone

iPhone (use Safari)

1. Open this address in Safari. It will not work from Chrome or from inside another app.
2. Tap the Share button (a square with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the screen.
3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
4. Tap Add in the top right corner.
5. Open TFE from your home screen and log in.

Phone notifications on iPhone need iOS 16.4 or newer and only work after you install it this way.

Android (use Chrome)

1. Open this address in Chrome.
2. Tap the three dots in the top right corner.
3. Tap Install app. If you only see Add to Home screen, tap that instead.
4. Tap Install.
5. Open TFE from your home screen and log in.

After you log in

1. Tap the menu button, then My profile.
2. Under Password, choose a password so you can log in without waiting for an email.
3. Under Phone notifications, switch them on and tap the test button to check they arrive.
4. Each working day, tap the menu button, then Attendance, then Check in.

If something does not work

• The login link says it expired: use your email and password instead. If you have no password yet, request the email link and open it in the same browser you asked from.
• No notifications: check that TFE is installed on the home screen, then allow notifications when your phone asks.
• Check-in says you are away from the office: turn on location for TFE, stand near the entrance, and try again. If it still fails, use the off-site option with a note and photo.
• Anything else: tell your manager or an admin.
